These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Website, the purchase of products through the Online Store, and the relationship between Room Design (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and its customers.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Before placing an order, please read them carefully, together with our Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy, Returns Policy, Payment & Shipping Policy, and Secure Transactions Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please refrain from using the Website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable Greek or European Union legislation.

Room Design specializes in contemporary furniture, lighting, decorative objects, and interior design products for residential and professional spaces.

Our collections may include sofas, armchairs, beds, tables, chairs, storage furniture, outdoor furniture, lighting fixtures, and home accessories.

The Company reserves the right to modify its product selection, discontinue products, update descriptions, and revise availability without prior notice, provided that confirmed customer orders and mandatory legal rights are respected.

Certain products may be available in different dimensions, materials, colours, fabrics, or finishes.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing product specifications and their selected options before submitting an order.

Where products are manufactured or customised according to specific customer requirements, additional conditions may apply, particularly regarding production times and the statutory right of withdrawal.

4. Product Information and Availability

Room Design makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, technical characteristics, photographs, and prices displayed on the Website are accurate and up to date.

However, slight differences may exist between the products shown on screen and their actual appearance due to monitor settings, lighting, photography, and natural variations in materials.

For furniture and upholstery products, colours, fabric textures, natural wood grains, marble patterns, and finishes may vary.

Such variations do not automatically constitute defects, provided that the delivered product conforms to the agreed description and applicable legal requirements.

Product availability may change without notice.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable, the Company will inform the customer and offer an appropriate solution, such as an alternative product, an agreed new delivery date, or cancellation and reimbursement where applicable.

5. Website Users

The Website is intended for individuals who are legally entitled to enter into binding transactions.

Customers placing orders must be at least 18 years old or otherwise have the legal capacity required under applicable law.

Minors may use the Website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information during registration and checkout.

If a customer creates an account, they are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and notifying the Company of suspected unauthorised access.

6. Ordering Process

Customers may browse the Website, select available products, and add eligible products to their shopping cart.

To submit an online order, customers must provide the necessary billing, contact, and delivery information, select an available payment method, review the total cost, and complete the checkout process.

Where a product is presented for enquiry or quotation rather than immediate online purchase, the enquiry does not, by itself, constitute a completed sale.

After an online order is submitted, the customer may receive an electronic acknowledgement containing the order details.

An automated acknowledgement of receipt does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.

The sales contract is concluded when the Company confirms its acceptance of the order or otherwise expressly accepts it in accordance with the applicable checkout procedure.

If an order cannot be fulfilled, the customer will be informed and any payment already collected for the unfulfilled order will be reimbursed as required by law.

7. Prices and Taxes

All product prices displayed in the Online Store are expressed in euros (€), unless otherwise indicated.

Prices intended for consumers include the applicable Value Added Tax (VAT), unless the Website clearly states otherwise in a legally permissible context.

Shipping, delivery, and any additional agreed service costs will be disclosed before the customer becomes bound by the purchase.

Room Design reserves the right to modify product prices, offers, and promotions at any time.

Price changes will not retroactively affect orders already accepted at an agreed price.

In the event of an obvious pricing or technical error, the Company will contact the customer to clarify the correct amount before proceeding where legally permitted.

Any additional payment or charge requires the customer’s agreement where required by law.

8. Payment

Payments must be completed using one of the payment methods made available during checkout or expressly agreed with the Company.

The Company may verify payment authorisation before processing an order.

If a payment cannot be completed or verified, the Company may contact the customer to resolve the issue.

Room Design does not assume responsibility for charges independently imposed by the customer’s bank or payment provider, provided such charges have not been imposed by the Company and the customer has been appropriately informed.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery availability, expected delivery times, and shipping charges depend on the product, destination, and delivery arrangements agreed with the customer.

Certain furniture products may require additional handling or specialised transportation due to their size, weight, or construction.

Delivery estimates will be communicated during checkout or when an order is confirmed.

The Company remains responsible for the goods during delivery until the risk passes to the customer under applicable law.

10. Cancellations, Returns and Withdrawal

Consumers purchasing products online may have the statutory right to withdraw from eligible distance-selling contracts within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.

Exceptions may apply to products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, in accordance with applicable legislation.

The right of withdrawal does not automatically apply to all purchases made by businesses for professional purposes.

The provisions of those policies do not affect the customer’s mandatory statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming products.

11. Product Guarantees and Legal Warranty

All products sold by Room Design are subject to the applicable statutory conformity requirements.

Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee provided under Greek and European Union consumer protection legislation, including a minimum two-year period of seller liability for lack of conformity as provided by law.

If a product is defective or does not conform to the sales contract, the customer may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or termination of the contract and reimbursement, subject to the applicable legal conditions.

Where a manufacturer provides an additional commercial warranty, its terms may be supplied with the product.

A commercial warranty does not replace, restrict, or eliminate mandatory statutory consumer rights.

12. Intellectual Property

All original Website content, including text, graphics, photographs, product presentations, layouts, designs, logos, and other material, is protected by applicable intellectual and industrial property laws.

Such material belongs to Room Design or its respective owners, suppliers, manufacturers, and licensors.
