Description

“In the physical construction of a design product, the challenge is to bring out the value of the material as much as the form”. These are the words used by David Chipperfield to describe his BOOKSHELF. Originally designed to be made of oak from recycled Venetian “briccole”, the bookcase is now offered in all the types of wood in the R1920 Collection. The bookcase is made completely of solid wood and is ideal for holding books and documents. The surface protruding beyond the other shelves is an excellent aid by providing a place to rest objects and documents that we are using or a practical writing surface. It can be used as room divider in open spaces. Upon request it can be produced in multilayer veneered.
