He began working in the upholstery and home furniture design sector at the age of 13; at 20, he established his first business manufacturing upholstered furniture for third parties, which evolved in 1986 into a company specializing in office seating.

Following collaborations with prominent, internationally renowned designers and architects—and observing the evolution of the upholstery and design market—he decided to launch a brand that would showcase his skills as both an upholsterer and a designer.
